DLF Promenade, in partnership with Theia Enterprise India, is transforming the way India experiences art with the debut of Legends Immersive Cinema, opening May 24th and running through August. This summer showcase brings together the worlds of Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh in an unprecedented immersive format, allowing visitors to walk through, interact with, and even talk to iconic masterpieces using next-gen technology.
Spanning 4,300 sq. ft. at DLF Promenade, the exhibit uses 35 laser projectors, Dolby Atmos sound, 13 interactive lidar sensors, and AI-driven 3D storytelling to create a deeply sensory environment. For the first time in India, visitors can chat with the Mona Lisa, activate Leonardo’s inventions, or witness Starry Night come alive—all in real-time, multilingual digital interactions.
The immersive twin showcase includes:
-
Da Vinci Genius: A 45-minute multisensory journey through the mind of the Renaissance polymath, featuring floor-to-ceiling projections of Vitruvian Man and The Last Supper. It also includes original music by Grammy-winning DJ Sasha and AI-powered storytelling to let visitors explore da Vinci’s genius hands-on.
-
Van Gogh – An Immersive Story: Making its Indian debut, this 40-minute narrative features 300+ animated works including Sunflowers and The Bedroom, capturing the emotional depth of Van Gogh’s art, enhanced by a moving soundtrack and immersive visuals.
The immersive cinema model, developed by Theia Enterprise in collaboration with Phoenix Immersive, iRealities, and flora&faunavisions, marks a major leap in cultural storytelling in India. “We’re not just showing art, we’re letting people live it,” says Pushpa Bector, Senior Executive Director, DLF Retail.
With 12 shows daily and limited capacity per session, this experience is designed for all—families, students, corporates, and curious travelers. Special group bookings and school programs are available to enhance educational engagement.
Following successful runs in Mumbai, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Florida, the Delhi showcase is part of a nationwide rollout set to travel to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and more. According to Theia’s Founder, Tabish F Khan, the goal is to create permanent immersive art venues across India that blend education, technology, and storytelling.
From projected masterpieces to AI-powered interactivity, Legends Immersive Cinema is a bold new frontier in how India sees, feels, and engages with art.
