In an effort to increase its presence in the athleisure clothing sector, Ganni has introduced a new sportswear line.
According to a press release, Ganni Athletic, which is scheduled to debut in February 2023, consists of 30 high-performance sport styles that are each produced from recycled nylon and polyester.
It expands on the Danish company’s already-clear efforts in the sportswear sector, which include market research through Ganni Klub and a special sport capsule release with Ssense.
The ready-to-wear line from Ganni will coexist with the collection, which is meant to be a permanent offering.
The company claimed that a few of the models had a microfibre construction that aids the body’s natural cooling process.
Leggings, shorts, blouses, and t-shirts are among the staple items and distinguishing basics that make up its core collection, all of which have a distinctive “Ganni twist.”
Tracksuits with a throwback feel, skirts with cutouts, hoodies with mesh logos, and leopard-print riding shorts are just a few examples of what will be available.
The collection will also feature a fresh version of the brand’s emblem.
Ditte Reffstrup, creative director at Ganni, spoke about the debut and shared her delight, saying that the activewear line has been in the works for a while.
“I really wanted to build something that suits the many different ways we incorporate movement into our life and make it feel incredibly exciting and versatile,” Reffstrup stated.
We have tried to make a collection that speaks to anyone’s interest, even though I personally like playing soccer and have always appreciated team sports.
