Lakmē has revealed that renowned design label péro will present the Grand Finale showcase at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI, scheduled for 22 March 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The finale will highlight Lakmē’s newest beauty launch, the Lakmē 9to5 HYA Beach Edit, celebrating the modern woman who confidently balances ambition with moments of relaxation.

The Lakmē 9to5 range has long represented the spirit of the working Indian woman. With the introduction of the HYA Beach Edit, the brand expands this narrative by recognising the importance of personal downtime and self-care. Built around the campaign message “I Earned It,” the concept reflects today’s woman who works hard and enjoys her moments of leisure with equal confidence, transitioning seamlessly between professional commitments and personal escapes.

Reflecting this theme of transition, péro’s upcoming collection transforms the ordinary office setting into a symbolic space of anticipation and possibility. The narrative imagines employees sitting at their desks under fluorescent lights, with unfinished paperwork and ticking clocks, while dreaming of distant landscapes such as beaches, mountain peaks, and open skies.

The collection embraces a minimalist design language while maintaining the label’s signature craft-driven identity. Handcrafted textiles sourced from across India form the core of the collection, enhanced by details like pom-poms, fringes, and hand-knitted textures. The colour palette remains restrained, primarily focusing on shades of blue and white, highlighting simplicity and artisanal craftsmanship.

Commenting on the collaboration, Sunanda Khaitan, Chief Marketing Officer – Beauty & Wellbeing at HUL, said Lakmē continues to draw inspiration from the evolving style of the modern working woman who expresses confidence while navigating multiple aspects of her day. She noted that partnering with péro brings together two creative perspectives that celebrate individuality, effortless style, and the natural flow between work and leisure.

Aneeth Arora, Founder of péro, shared that the Fall/Winter 2026 collection aims to balance practicality with playfulness. The garments are designed to move easily through the rhythm of daily life, combining comfort and craftsmanship suitable for work while also reflecting the joy and freedom of leisure moments.

The Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI Grand Finale promises to present a compelling narrative where fashion and beauty converge, celebrating women who dedicate themselves to their work while fully embracing the moments they have earned.
