As part of an ongoing worldwide effort to enhance its global network, denim trade fair Kingpins returned to China to present its denim-centric event after a five-year break.
Around 40 B2B and 20 B2C exhibitors were on show for the 700 attendees of Kingpins China, which was held from May 23 to May 25 at the ADM More conference center in Hangzhou.
Representatives from global fashion brands including JD United, Levi’s, Bestseller, Miss Sixty, and Crystal Group were among the attendees; according to Kingpins, they all “loved the boutique nature of the show,” which created a “focused and intimate atmosphere.”
The show had its customary “buzzing atmosphere,” according to Kingpins, who also mentioned that exhibitors had received “overwhelmingly positive” response. It “see[s] potential for the Kingpins China show to grow even further” as a result, the organization stated.
Before the outbreak, Kingpins had conducted a 2016 China City Tour that was conducted in two different Chinese cities. But finally, in 2020, a pandemic compelled Kingpins to suspend all activities in China, bringing this to a complete halt.
The corporation had resorted to the digital space in order to continue pursuing European and North American customers at the time, when in-person events and travel were limited. However, due to technological limitations, China had not been able to achieve this result.
