Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (JFL), a leader in emerging markets’ food-tech, has launched Elate, India’s first Android-based Point of Sale (POS) and Order Taking System, tailored specifically for the foodservice sector.
Elate marks a pivotal milestone in JFL’s ongoing digital transformation, complementing its already successful Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) apps, which are among the highest-rated food apps in India. As a cloud-first solution, Elate integrates seamlessly with the company’s D2C platforms, utilizing advanced machine learning to create a unified and personalized digital ecosystem.
Developed by JFL’s team of 250 product designers, UX experts, tech professionals, and data scientists, Elate is designed to enhance order-taking, streamline store operations, and elevate customer experiences. It will play a critical role in transforming restaurant operations, cutting training times, and ensuring top-notch service across all JFL brands.
Sameer Khetarpal, Managing Director & CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks, commented, “Technology and digital innovation are central to JFL’s strategy. Elate represents a significant leap forward in our journey to create a seamless, integrated food-tech ecosystem, improving customer experiences and optimizing operational efficiency.”
Vaneet Singla, Chief Product Officer, added, “Elate is a game-changer. As a cloud-native, Android-based system, it integrates smoothly with our D2C apps and drastically reduces training times. We’ve reimagined the order-taking process to ensure consistency, personalization, and ease of use at all customer touchpoints.”
Elate is only the beginning of a new tech-first restaurant experience, with additional features like kiosks, order screens, and status displays already in development. Currently active in select Domino’s stores, Elate is set to expand to over 2,100 locations within the next three years, revolutionizing the foodservice industry with cutting-edge technology.
