The brand cited Jessica’s powerful, sophisticated, and principled stance on sustainability and veganism for over 15 years as the driving force behind their partnership, aligning with their shared values of safety for humans, animals, and the planet.
In her new role, Chastain will represent the brand’s latest product, the Phyto Retinol Sleep Serum, formulated with a plant-based alternative, Peptilium, known for its wrinkle-reducing benefits without skin irritation.
The collaboration will see True Botanicals unveiling billboards across Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York, alongside TV and streaming commercials on platforms like Peacock, Hulu, and Paramount+.
Jessica Chastain, recognized for her roles in television series like Law & Order: Trial by Jury and acclaimed films such as Interstellar and Zero Dark Thirty, brings her award-winning talent to this new role with True Botanicals. This collaboration comes on the heels of True Botanicals’ Series B investment from NextWorld Evergreen, a San Francisco-based growth equity firm. The brand plans to utilize the funding to expand its retail presence while furthering its commitment to social and environmental impact, following earlier support from Sonoma Brands Capital and Unilever Ventures during the company’s Series A round.
