Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS has returned with a new batch of high-octane photographs this time starring ’90s legends Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra. Last month, SKIMS debuted a Steven Klein-shot, faux-leather swim campaign. The campaign, which is based around car wash, honours the significant contributions to pop culture that both actors have made over the course of their careers.
McCarthy and Electra, both former Playboy models, first worked together on the 2005 film Dirty Love before competing against one another in Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV. Additionally, each actress has individually appeared in multiple different Scary Movie iterations as well as a number of other beloved films.
“The energy on set was incredible, especially shooting alongside Carmen, who looks amazing,” remarked McCarthy in a statement. Although we’ve been friends for a long time, it felt like we were just hanging out in the 1990s.
It was a dream to be reunited with Jenny for the SKIMS campaign, Electra continued. “She was my biggest supporter and not only did she still look amazing on set, but she also gave the best enthusiasm. I’m so thrilled we’re able to partake in this iconic occasion together!”
The multi-hyphenate actors appear in the campaign wearing a variety of swimsuits that have been deemed acceptable by the Kardashians, such as the scoop-neck and zip-front one-pieces in the Onyx and Gunmetal hues. Additionally, the pair is wearing a Triangle Top, a Tank Bikini Top, Dipped Tie Bottoms, and Mid-Waist Bottoms.
