  • The company unveils the future of fashion without water, waste or spills, through technologies such as G2, for garment finishing.
  • Visitors will be able to discover Jeanologia’s new major challenge: transforming the garment dyeing process through its ColorBox technology.
  • The Spanish company will show Indian textile professionals how these innovations reduce environmental impact and increase operational performance.

The Spanish company Jeanologia, a world leader in technologies for the textile industry, will be present at Gartex Texprocess India 2024, from February 1-3 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Over the years, Jeanologia has been transforming the way jeans are manufactured, offering end-to-end solutions, hardware and software, for a new operating model. Its MissionZero methodology, which seeks to transform the textile sector into a dehydrated and detoxified industry, is unstoppable. And the Indian textile industry, one of the world’s largest fashion producers, plays a key role in this transformation.

With the purpose of driving the transformation of the Indian textile sector towards a new, more sustainable, circular and competitive model, Jeanologia arrives at Gartex ready to lead the transition from the end of the water era to the beginning of a new air era in garment finishing, without water, waste or spills, through the combination of its disruptive technologies and software.

“Water Era is Over, Air is the Future”

Under the slogan “Water Era is Over, Air is the Future”, Jeanologia will present technological advances such as its G2 Ozone air washer and Indra system, which use air from the atmosphere to generate ozone. The ATMOS process is born, marking a milestone in the world of denim, eliminating pumice, minimizing the use of water and eliminating the toxic chemicals of the famous stone wash finish.

Indian textile professionals will also discover at Gartex Jeanologia’s new major challenge: to reduce the environmental impact of the garment dyeing process – one of the most polluting in the industry – through its ColorBox technology.

Visitors will be able to see how this technology becomes the most eco-efficient way to add color to garments, saving up to 60% of water and chemicals, 45% of energy and 76% of salt, compared to traditional dyeing methods. In addition to adding color to the garment, thanks to Jeanologia’s Colorbox technology, Jeanologia also ages it, acheiving authentics looks thanks to its G2 Atmos process.

25 years of Jeanologia’s iconic laser

Jeanologia’s pioneering laser technology, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, will also be present at India’s most important textile fair, to present its design software for finishing denim garments, which makes it possible to achieve authentic vintage looks in a highly efficient, fast, safe and sustainable way.

Developments such as its Flash System technology, which exponentially increase the precision and speed of denim garment marking, reducing the operating costs of the process.

A commitment to the eco-efficient future of the Indian textile industry

Jeanologia’s participation in this new edition of Gartex Texprocess is part of its commitment to promote the transformation of Indian manufacturing companies, as key players in the transformation of the textile sector worldwide.

“The Indian textile industry is key to our global commitment to more sustainable and efficient practices. Jeanologia was born with the mission to lead this change and we want to continue to do so, contributing to the growth of the Indian textile industry – one of the world’s largest clothing suppliers – through our eco-efficient technologies,” says Manuj Kanchan, division director CEA at Jeanologia.

The Spanish technology company will convey its commitment to a future where water is no longer an exhaustible resource and air becomes the main ally for the manufacture of sustainable and high quality garments.

Manuj Kanchan will share this vision of a sustainable future for the Indian textile industry in an interesting talk, scheduled for February 2, from 2 pm to 5 pm, within the framework of Gartex’s ‘Denim Talks’, where the head of Jeanologia for this region will address the relevance of adopting eco-efficient technologies, redefining the role of water and air in the manufacture of garments.
