In celebration of World Water Day, Jeanologia—a global leader in sustainable textile technologies—announced a major milestone: the saving of over 20 million cubic meters of polluted water and a reduction of 98.4 million kg of CO₂ emissions in 2024. This achievement aligns with their continued mission to transform the fashion industry through circular and eco-efficient solutions.

According to Jeanologia’s Ecological Profit and Loss Account, the environmental impact of these efforts is equivalent to the annual water consumption of Valencia and the carbon capture of a 16,000-hectare forest—roughly the size of 22,400 football fields. This reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to detoxifying and dehydrating the textile sector without compromising quality or creativity.

CEO Enrique Silla emphasized that the textile industry stands at a pivotal moment. “The future of fashion relies on deeper integration of sustainable technologies. We’ve shown that fashion can be made responsibly—without harming the planet,” he said.

Jeanologia’s eco-efficient systems have been adopted in over 80 countries, promoting zero-discharge production and drastically minimizing water usage in denim finishing and dyeing. Their Mission Zero initiative aims for textile manufacturing with no water waste or environmental discharge.

Silla concluded with a call to action: “Innovation must lead to implementation. Each liter of water saved and each gram of CO₂ avoided brings us closer to a better industry. The challenge is global—let’s tackle it together.”
