The Spanish Fashion Academy Awards, which strive to identify and promote the major participants in the Spanish fashion business, have named Jeanologia the winner of the Best Business Project category in their inaugural year. Jeanologia made a splash as a major authority on sustainability and technology in fashion at an emotional gala honoring Spanish talent. This Spanish company has been revolutionizing the textile industry for the past thirty years with its cutting-edge technologies.
The award from the Spanish Fashion Academy recognizes Jeanologia’s leadership and global vision, as well as its capacity to spark constructive change within the international fashion sector. Selected from more than 400 applicants and supported by the votes of 129 eminent founding scholars, the honor signifies unanimity of Jeanologia’s impact in the industry.
The award ceremony, which honored the legacy of Cristóbal Balenciaga, a pivotal figure who would have turned 129 in 2024, took place on Thursday, June 13, at Madrid’s Teatro Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa. It drew notable figures from the Spanish fashion scene and marked a momentous occasion in Spanish fashion history.
The CEO and creator of Jeanologia, Enrique Silla, gladly accepted the award statuette, which was created by Helena Rohner and was modeled after the recognizable headgear worn by Balenciaga. Thanks in particular to him for honoring “the giant of twentieth-century global fashion and the most influential figure in Spanish fashion.” In line with Balenciaga’s philosophy, Silla showcased fashion as a means of expressing not just creativity and beauty but also hard work, ingenuity, & an obsession with detail.
