Jaipur Rugs and Archdais have announced the return of their innovative design competition, inviting architects and designers worldwide to participate in the Jaipur Rugs Pavilion – Design & Build Competition. This initiative continues their mission to celebrate storytelling through sustainable, craft-rooted spatial design while supporting emerging talent in the design community.
With a total prize pool of INR 3.5 lakhs, the contest provides winners not only with cash rewards and gift vouchers, but also real-world implementation opportunities. The first prize winner will receive INR 50,000 in cash and vouchers, along with a trophy and certificate. The runner-up and second runner-up will receive INR 30,000 and INR 20,000 respectively, while 15 honorable mentions will also be awarded gift vouchers worth INR 10,000 each.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, the competition now returns with a fresh focus on creating immersive pavilion experiences that showcase Jaipur Rugs’ identity — one deeply rooted in craft, culture, and community. Designers are challenged to shape soulful, sustainable spaces that can be brought to life at upcoming Jaipur Rugs exhibitions.
