Jaipur Rugs and Archdais Reveal Winners of Design & Build Competition
India – Jaipur Rugs, in collaboration with Archdais, has announced the winners of the “Jaipur Rugs Pavilion – Design & Build Competition.” The global event celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and community through innovative design.
A Global Celebration of Design and Craftsmanship
This year’s competition received an extraordinary response, attracting over 1300 designers from across India and the world. Designers from Delhi, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Ernakulam, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Chennai presented creative interpretations of Jaipur Rugs’ essence. Each design combined heritage, innovation, and artistry in a unique way.
Additionally, international participation was strong, with entries from the United States, United Kingdom, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. This global engagement reinforced the event’s mission of connecting creative minds through design.
Announcing the Winners
After a detailed evaluation by an expert jury, the winners were announced:

1st Prize: Rishabh Dae & Sanskruti Agrawal – Bangalore

2nd Prize: Dhruv Soni & Dhanav Tandon – Mumbai

3rd Prize: Tangible Intangible Design Office & Himanshu Chopra – New Delhi
Their projects showcased how creativity and traditional craftsmanship can merge to build designs that are both meaningful and human-centered.
Blending Tradition with Innovation
Rutvi Chaudhary, Director, Jaipur Rugs, shared her thoughts:
“The Jaipur Rugs Pavilion – Design & Build Competition goes beyond a typical contest. It connects artisans and designers, merging tradition with innovation. Each participant added emotion and intention, reminding us that true design is rooted in human connection and creative courage.”
She further explained that the initiative highlights Jaipur Rugs’ dedication to empowering artisans, promoting community-driven design, and inspiring creators to move beyond aesthetics toward storytelling through craftsmanship.

Rushikesh Kothari, CEO of Archdais, added:
