Bright brand statements abound in Welspun’s showroom, but the company is also making a radical shift with its new White185 towel.
With a tint value of 185, the White185 collection is the whitest towel available on the market according to the independent Datacolor CIE Whiteness and Tint Value scale.
Christopher Mooney, chief global marketing officer, stated, “Welspun is introducing a range of solid, textured, and jacquard towels and bath rugs for the ultimate drop-in white sale promotion given the power of white in the category of bath products.” “This innovation is relevant to the hospitality market in addition to retail.”
Welspun is also offering what it calls the first bath rug/tub mat set in the omni-retail market as part of the White185 selection.
“What appears to be a straightforward achievement is so financially and operationally demanding that it hasn’t been accomplished to this point in the brick and mortar and, consequently, omni world,” Mooney stated.
The company’s Sustainability Lab offers focused methods in bed and bath that address stand-alone fixes and approaches to sustainability through textiles in other areas of the showroom.
