Princess Vittoria of Savoy has captured the hearts of many with her stunning beauty, sharp intellect, and royal lineage. With over 80,000 followers on Instagram, the 19-year-old fashion influencer is already a queen of social media.
The poised young princess is currently studying political science and the history of art at a university in London. But, she is also poised to become first in line for Italy’s defunct crown. Her father, Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, 50, has publicly declared that he plans to renounce his claim to the throne. The prince has stated that he believes his “rock’n’roll” princess daughter would do a better job than he ever could.
He added that it may not happen tomorrow nor in one year, but it would happen when she was ready. Prince Emanuele Filiberto acknowledges the need for a fresh perspective and innovative modern ideas to solve the pressing problems of today’s world. He acknowledges that his daughter’s generation is much more aware of the world’s difficulties than he is. Prince Emanuele Filiberto, who divides his time between Geneva, Paris, and Italy with his family, stated that he has “utmost respect” for King Charles III. He added, however, that he believes the king waited a long time to take the throne. The Savoy royal family is one of Italy’s oldest and most prominent royal families. They ruled over Italy from 1861 to 1946
before the royal family was exiled after Italy became a republic.
