The actor’s ensemble, which has a hefty dosage of diamonds as accessories, is a neo-modern interpretation of traditional lehengas.

Janhvi Kapoor manages to pull off a seductive look even when dressing traditionally. The actor once again showed off how to rock a sophisticated holiday dress with flair at a wedding in May 2024. She looked stunning in a multicolored Tarun Tahiliani lehenga adorned with a rainbow of designs and hues.

Featuring a bralette, a cape, and a multi-paneled lehenga embellished with an array of artisanal methods, Kapoor’s lehenga epitomizes the subdued grandeur that has been synonymous with her work.

“Janhvi’s attire combines the renowned TT trellis design with Swarovski crystals with the elegant French hand-embroidered method of knots with silk threads. Three panels in shades of pink, lilac, and jade make up the skirt. Tarun Tahiliani says, “The skirt is embellished with ivory resham French knots and 3D embroidered diamond paves motifs to further enhance the design.” “From design to completion, this couture ensemble took almost three months to create,” he continues.

The designer switched things up for Kapoor’s lehenga by replacing the dupatta with an off-the-shoulder cape covered with crystals. Capes, which are effortlessly elegant and perfect for a festive occasion, have become a mainstay in fashion designers’ collections, drawing the attention of fashionistas and trend-setters.

Kapoor accessorized her ostentatious lehenga with a hefty dose of diamonds—imagine 22 carats of diamonds set into an amazing Amaris necklace. Written by Rajpal Prerna. This necklace may be worn lower as haar or higher as a choker as Janhvi did, thanks to its flowing design and mobility. The set includes matching pear-shaped diamond stud earrings, according to Amari’s founder and creative director Prerna Rajpal.

For the event, the actor had a curly goddess blow-dry that hung over her shoulders. Her glossy pink lips and smoked-out eye makeup looked stunning with her pink cheeks. Her Doux Amour Coco purse, which was beautifully hand-embroidered with beaded petals to resemble a peony and harked back to the Victorian era, was the ideal addition to her outfit for the evening.
