Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics 2025 concluded with resounding success, solidifying South China’s position as a thriving hub of fashion and textile innovation. Held from 11–13 June at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian), the fair—alongside Yarn Expo Shenzhen, PH Value, and BIRD Fashion Fair—welcomed nearly 40,000 visits from 64 countries, drawing global buyers, designers, and industry stakeholders.
This year introduced two new themed zones: Fashion Gallery, featuring ready-to-wear categories and functional textiles from leading innovators like AiDLab and Nano and Advanced Materials Institute; and The Closet, a curated display of sustainable and ethically-produced fashion by SFAA, Mint Studio, and the Hong Kong Fur Federation.
Technology was a central theme across the show floor and forums. The Digital Application Trend Forum showcased full-process digitisation in apparel—from AI-enabled fashion testing to automated supply chain systems. Meanwhile, The Intertextile Forum tackled macroeconomic shifts, focusing on how digital intelligence can support resilient textile supply chains.
Exhibitors from 650 companies representing regions like France, Japan, the US, Vietnam, and Korea presented high-performance fabrics, eco materials, and AI-powered innovations. Top global fashion brands including Levi’s, Adidas, Zara, Puma, and Lululemon explored sourcing opportunities, particularly in digital fashion, sustainable solutions, and premium fabrics.
Exhibitor testimonials reflected satisfaction with business interest and the opportunity to engage with regional buyers in South China’s key markets. From luxury wool and recycled polyester to ethical fur, exhibitors valued the fair’s forward-looking focus.
Visitors and speakers shared enthusiasm for digital fashion’s growing influence and Shenzhen’s rising relevance in global fashion. Interactive seminars on AI design, immersive commerce, and 3D fashion helped deepen engagement on future-facing themes.
As part of the Greater Bay Area’s expanding textile ecosystem, Intertextile Shenzhen 2025 not only reflected current demand but helped shape the next phase of apparel sourcing and development in China.
