Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, one of the textile industry’s leading trade platforms, is set to take place from 2 to 4 September 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This year, the fair introduces upgraded zones and a dynamic fringe programme to provide industry players with an immersive sourcing, networking, and knowledge-sharing experience.

A key highlight, the Functional Lab in Hall 4.1, addresses rising demand for athletic and performance fabrics, showcasing innovations in smart textiles, outdoor materials, and sportswear. Exhibitors such as Burlington, Kbtex Warp Knitting Technology, and Unifi Textiles (Suzhou) will present their latest offerings. The Lab’s feature display, The CUBE, will demonstrate advanced fabrics for athleisure, protective apparel, and sportswear.

The Premium Wool Zone will spotlight high-end textiles from esteemed European names including Abraham Moon & Sons, Scop Clarenson, Thomas Mason, and Yunsa. Alongside, the Bespoke Performance area will emphasize luxury suiting and shirting materials, featuring wool, worsted, tweed, cashmere, and silk designed for modern tailoring.

The Innovation & Digital Solutions Zone (formerly Digital Solutions Zone) will focus on cutting-edge digital technologies, eco-conscious solutions, and smart textile applications. Highlights include the Green Machine by HKRITA, Shima Seiki’s digital fabric simulation software, and AiDLab’s AI-powered tools for design and textile inspection.

The fringe programme will feature expert-led seminars and discussions covering design, sustainability, technology, and market strategies. Notable sessions include:

  • Design & Trends: Intertextile Directions Trend Forum (A/W 26–27) by NeIlyRodi™ and a Women’s Fashion Forecast by PeclersParis.

  • Texpertise Econogy: sustainability-focused talks such as Impact Now by SGS-CSTC and Ecodesign Regulations (ESPR) by Bureau Veritas.

  • Technology & Solutions: innovations in AI for fashion design by AiDLab and Shima Seiki’s digital product creation solutions.

  • Market Insights: ASEAN’s evolving textile trade environment with AFTEX, and an overview of the UK textile sector by UKFT.

To streamline sourcing, buyers can use Connect PLUS, a digital platform that offers AI-driven exhibitor recommendations, messaging, and meeting scheduling integrated with WeChat, Facebook, and SMS.

The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT), and the China Textile Information Centre. It will run concurrently with Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, covering the full apparel textile value chain.
