Intertextile Shanghai 2025 Showcases Smart Home Textiles

The upcoming Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition (20–22 August 2025), to be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, is set to spotlight a diverse array of innovations and trends reshaping the global home textiles sector. Spanning 100,000 sqm, the fair will feature specialised halls showcasing everything from bedding and upholstery to curtain fabrics and eco-conscious materials.

Emphasising sustainability and technological innovation, this year’s edition reflects shifting market dynamics in China, where consumer demand is rising for eco-friendly, smart, and customisable textile solutions. The exhibition will offer dedicated zones for Brand Fabrics, International Brands, Trendy Fabrics, and Furniture Fabrics, providing clarity and focus for visitors.

The show will highlight advanced manufacturing, smart home textile technologies, and materials such as cotton, wool, bamboo, and recycled PET. Among the innovations are temperature-regulating fabrics, antibacterial textiles, and solvent-free synthetic leather—a nod to both comfort and environmental responsibility.

  • Love Home Fabrics (Belgium): featuring 100% recycled PET collections.

  • Rioma S L (Spain): renowned for sustainable upholstery designs.

  • Everpia JSC (Vietnam) and Jaspa Herington (Australia): showcasing high-quality bedding solutions.

  • Dersiyon Tekstil (Türkiye) and Hangzhou Longshi (China): spotlighting fire-resistant and blackout curtain fabrics.

  • Art House Design (Netherlands) and Patterns from Agency (Finland): presenting creative pattern designs for interiors.

  • Zhejiang Kancen and BLW International: innovating with eco-conscious synthetic leathers.

A key attraction will be the Green Product Display Zone, highlighting biodegradable materials, recycled fibres, organic textiles, and clean production techniques across the textile value chain.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, CCPIT’s Sub-Council of Textile Industry, and China Home Textile Association (CHTA), the fair reinforces its position as a global hub for home textile innovation and business networking.
