Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global sustainable chemical leader, will join the Textile Exchange Conference in Lisbon from October 13–17. The event runs under the theme Shifting Landscapes.

The IVL delegation will include Vipin Kumar, Chief Commercial Officer of Fibers, alongside global sustainability, technology, and advocacy experts. Together, they will highlight how systemic change requires collaboration across the textile value chain.

Moreover, the company has set bold 2030 sustainability targets. It plans for 16% of externally sourced feedstock to be bio-based. At the same time, 23% of PET feedstock will come from recycled post-consumer PET bales. Consequently, these goals place IVL at the forefront of circular textile innovation. “We must remain ahead in technology, materials, and regulatory discussions,” said Vipin Kumar. “This conference allows us to work with partners who share our ambition for textile circularity.”

In addition, Indorama Ventures will showcase its deja™ fibers and yarns in Lisbon. This portfolio supports decarbonization and prepares customers for the upcoming European Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).

The deja™ line includes:

  • deja Circularity: PET fibers and yarns produced from recycled textile waste. These solutions serve lifestyle sectors like apparel and home textiles, as well as technical uses such as airbags, seat belts, and tires.

  • deja Bio: Bio-based PET yarns with a lower carbon footprint. Furthermore, the company uses eleven ISCC+ certified sites under the mass balance approach, which blends renewable and conventional materials while allocating environmental benefits responsibly.

  • deja Enhanced: Fibers and yarns developed by converting hard-to-recycle packaging and textiles through advanced recycling. As a result, customers can meet circularity goals without compromising performance.

Meanwhile, the company continues to expand collaboration with brand owners, technology firms, and customers. Therefore, IVL is not only showcasing solutions but also shaping conversations on regulation, innovation, and consumer expectations.

Ultimately, Indorama Ventures’ efforts reinforce its leadership in sustainable fibers. By combining innovation with strong partnerships, the company moves the textile industry closer to a circular and climate-conscious future.
