India’s Gartex Texprocess Today is the grand launch of New Delhi.

Today marked the official inauguration of the 11th edition of Gartex Texprocess India in New Delhi, taking place at the state-of-the-art expo center Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. Chief Guest and Textiles Minister Shri Giriraj Singh emphasized joint ventures and FDIs as major potential in the industry.

Over 180 exhibitors swarm the show floor, showcasing over 600 companies from countries such as India, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA, as well as showcasing the latest developments in the textile and apparel production business.

The 11th edition of the show was inaugurated today in the presence of the esteemed dignitaries of the textile industry, which included:

The Chief Guest, Hon. Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, said to the assembly, “I see a very good programme organised with the knowledge sessions, product display and B2B networking opportunities.” For this, I am grateful to all the businesses in the apparel, machinery, fabric, and denim industries. In his speech, he placed a strong emphasis on fostering joint ventures, foreign direct investment, and cooperative advancement in the textile manufacturing industry among suppliers, producers, and brands. Additionally, he stated that the textile industry has the capacity to create jobs, second only to agriculture. To advance the industry, the Indian government would collaborate with the department of agriculture and textiles.

In the textile and apparel sector, Gartex Texprocess India has continuously been at the forefront of exhibiting advancements and new trends. This edition features a wide range of cutting-edge product introductions from numerous businesses that serve the denim, sewing machine, machinery production, fabrics, trims, accessories, and more industries.

Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltdexpressed his excitement for the 11th New Delhi edition’s launch. “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from the industry stakeholders to the 11th edition of Gartex Texprocess India,” he stated. The Indian government has placed a strong emphasis on manufacturing, and we are delighted to see the innovations in denim, textiles and apparel production solutions, and other areas from more than 200 exhibitors.

Mr. Gaurav Juneja, Director of MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, added: “The remarkable attendance and involvement of top brands and global exhibitors underscores the importance of Gartex Texprocess India in propelling the future of the textile and apparel production sector. We anticipate a productive and enjoyable three days of networking, business talks, information sharing, and inventions.

On the second day, which is dedicated to denim, industry professionals will offer informative presentations covering a wide range of topics, from denim manufacturing to sustainable solutions. The talks will cover topics like automated laundry, sustainability, denim innovations, and how AI tools can be used to identify denim trends and evaluate the denim lifespan.
