INDIA ARMY TO ENHANCE, BETTER QUALITY UNIFORM: TEXTILE INDUSTRY

As the Indian Army looks forward to providing new, enhanced, better-quality uniform to Indian soldiers, the textile sector may become involved in its important endeavour. An RFP will soon be issued for the purchase of Improved Comb Dress by Master General Sustenance (MGS), a division of the Indian Army in charge of acquiring the supplies the Indian Army needs (Digital Camouflage Pattern).

In this regard, a gathering of various industry stakeholders also happened. According to reports, one of the eligibility requirements is the ability to produce about 3,000 000 uniform sets every month, as well as the capacity for in-house spinning, weaving, wet processing, dyeing, printing, and garmenting under one roof.The new, better combat uniform is scheduled to be purchased.
