The 12th edition of India Rubber Expo (IRE 2026), Asia’s largest rubber industry exhibition, continued to gain strong momentum on its second day at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi, marked by high-profile dignitary visits, robust global participation and dynamic business engagement.
Organised by the All India Rubber Industries Association, the four-day event (April 7–10) opened with a grand inaugural ceremony attended by the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta. With the theme “Innovate, Connect, Transform”, IRE 2026 reinforces its role as a leading platform for innovation, collaboration and growth across the rubber and allied industries.
Day 2 witnessed the visit of Honourable Shri Praveen Khandelwal, Member of Lok Sabha, who interacted with exhibitors and explored advanced technologies showcased at the event. He was followed by Honourable Shri Om Prakash Sharma, Member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, who acknowledged the scale of participation and the industry’s contribution to economic development.
The exhibition floor remained highly active, with manufacturers, innovators and global stakeholders presenting cutting-edge products and engaging in discussions around business expansion, sustainability and future-ready solutions. The expo continues to facilitate strategic partnerships and new opportunities across both domestic and international markets.
Alongside the exhibition, IRE 2026 is hosting a series of conferences and workshops, enhancing knowledge exchange and industry collaboration.
Adding a cultural dimension, the event features three Grand Gala Theme Nights celebrating global networking with Indian hospitality. The opening evening, “Exhibitors Nite”, showcased a symphonic performance by The Quavers Chambers Choir, Shillong. The celebrations continued with “Sufiyaana Shaam” featuring Swaraag Fusion from Jaipur, and will conclude with “Colors of India”, including a special performance by Rohanpreet Singh & Band.
