Expanded India Pavilion strengthens cotton yarn sourcing at Yarn Expo Autumn 2026
Rising demand for renewable materials, transparent supply chains and circular sourcing is reshaping the global textile industry. Responding to these trends, Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will showcase an extensive range of natural yarns, sustainable cottons and eco-friendly fibres from 25 to 27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
A major highlight of this year’s edition is the significantly expanded India Pavilion, organised by TEXPROCIL, which will feature more than 40 exhibitors, more than doubling its presence compared to the previous edition. The pavilion will reinforce India’s position as a leading supplier of high-quality cotton yarns and value-added fibre solutions.
The global natural fibre market is projected to reach USD 68.37 billion in 2026, reflecting growing commercial interest in renewable textile materials. Buyers attending the exhibition will have opportunities to connect with cotton suppliers, spinners and fibre innovators from across Asia-Pacific and other international markets, exploring traceable cotton, recycled yarns and high-performance natural blends for apparel, home textiles and technical applications.
As two of the world’s largest textile producers, China and India continue to play a central role in global cotton processing and manufacturing. The expanded India Pavilion will showcase BCI-certified, combed and compact cotton yarns, alongside products developed under the Kasturi Cotton Bharat traceability initiative, highlighting India’s commitment to quality and responsible sourcing.
Among the participating exhibitors, Excel Enterprise will display premium Shankar-6 raw cotton and long-staple combed cotton yarns designed for fine weaving and high-end circular knitting, offering improved strength, reduced fibre fly and enhanced fabric uniformity. Shreedhar Cotsyn will present its portfolio of 100% combed and compact cotton yarns, multi-tone mélange collections and cotton blends with acrylic, viscose and plant-based cellulose suitable for fashion, activewear, intimate apparel and specialised knitwear.
International exhibitors expand cotton and natural fibre sourcing options
Beyond the India Pavilion, exhibitors from major textile-producing countries will present a diverse range of cotton and natural fibre solutions.
Cotton Council International from the United States will showcase COTTON USA™, highlighting cotton yarns backed by farm-to-spindle supply chain transparency and measurable environmental performance, providing brands with greater visibility into raw material sourcing.
Indonesia’s Duniatex Group will demonstrate its integrated textile manufacturing capabilities across spinning, weaving, dyeing and knitting, offering comprehensive yarn solutions for fashion and home textiles.
From Pakistan, Ihsan Cotton Products will introduce recycled cotton open-end yarns and home textile yarns produced using post-industrial textile waste, supporting manufacturers seeking circular material solutions.
The exhibition will also highlight the continued evolution of natural fibres through sustainable and cellulosic alternatives. PT DAN LIRIS (Indonesia) and Toray Industries Inc. (Japan) will present TENCEL™-related offerings, while Yajur Fibres (India) and Better International (Hong Kong) will feature bamboo fibre products. Meanwhile, Circ Inc. (USA) and Everest Textile (Taiwan) will showcase innovative lyocell-based materials, providing brands with additional sustainable fibre options for future product development.
Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will take place alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC and PH Value, bringing together the fibre, yarn, apparel fabrics, fashion and knitwear industries under one roof to create enhanced sourcing and networking opportunities.
