In Amsterdam, the outdoor technical apparel and accessory brand Patagonia has launched its first location in the Netherlands. It will function as a retail outlet as well as a gathering place for the local sports and activist groups.
The store, which is situated at historic Singel 465–467, sells the brand’s technical outdoor sports equipment, including as climbing gear, snow gear, and trail running gear.
The company has announced that it will regularly hold a program of free events, including repair workshops, film screenings, and public talks. The store layout has been intended to give space for activities and workshops.
With 12 locations throughout Europe, the American brand’s newest location is in Amsterdam.
