IIJS Bharat – Signature 2026, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), will open the global jewellery business calendar as the first major B2B trade fair of the year. The 18th edition will take place across two premier venues in Mumbai.
Dual Venues and Dates in Mumbai
The exhibition will run at the Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, from 8 to 11 January 2026. At the same time, the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, will host the show from 9 to 12 January 2026, alongside IGJME Bharat – Signature 2026 for machinery and technology.
A Key Business Barometer for the Industry
IIJS Bharat – Signature sets the direction for sourcing, design, and trade trends for the year ahead. This edition will feature over 1,600 exhibitors across 3,300 stalls, covering 1.25 lakh square metres of exhibition space.
Strong Domestic and International Buyer Participation
The show expects more than 25,000 trade buyers from over 800 Indian cities. In addition, 1,400 international buyers from 40 countries will attend. Twelve international buyer delegations will also participate.
Buyers can source across gold, diamond, silver, coloured gemstones, couture jewellery, lab-grown diamonds, and allied machinery.
Growing Global Presence and New Exhibitors
International exhibitors from the USA, UAE, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Turkey, and Germany will participate in this edition. Reflecting strong business momentum, more than 368 new companies will debut at IIJS Bharat – Signature 2026.

Select CLUB Showcases Luxury Jewellery
The Select CLUB, located at the Jio World Convention Centre, will bring together 107 curated companies. The segment will showcase high-end couture and fine jewellery for premium buyers and luxury retailers.
Celebrating Indian Craftsmanship Through Brilliant Bharat
Under the Brilliant Bharat – Art Forms of India theme, the exhibition highlights India’s jewellery heritage. The Crafts Pavilion will host live demonstrations by National Award-winning artisans.
The pavilion will showcase GI-tagged crafts such as Thewa, Banarasi Meenakari, Cuttack Silver Filigree, and Hupari silver anklets.
Design Excellence and Knowledge Forums
The Jewellery Crafts Design Competition will encourage designers to reinterpret traditional art forms into contemporary jewellery. Winning pieces will feature at the Brilliant Bharat Theme Gallery across both venues.
Meanwhile, the Innov8 Talks and Symposium will address key topics. These include natural diamond market trends, free trade agreements, lab-grown diamond technology, ease of doing business, and artificial intelligence in jewellery.
JewelStart and Sustainability Initiatives
GJEPC will launch JewelStart, a business incubation platform for start-ups, MSMEs, designers, and artisans. The initiative will support mentorship, technology access, and market connectivity.
Sustainability remains central under GJEPC’s One Earth initiative. The Council will eliminate over 600,000 single-use plastic water bottles at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. Other measures include renewable energy use and low-waste booth systems.
Enhanced Visitor Experience
IIJS Bharat – Signature 2026 will offer Prime Plus Lounges, digital entry, and shuttle services. The upgraded IIJS App will feature a 3D floor plan, exhibitor search tools, and direct enquiry options.
