The much-anticipated 2024 Hyères Festival is set to be a truly international and thrilling affair. This year’s competition for emerging talent has taken a bold step by appointing three influential figures in the realms of fashion and photography as the heads of its various juries. The announcement, made on January 24 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, marked the official launch of the 39th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories in Hyères, scheduled to take place from October 10 to 13, 2024.

Nicolas Di Felice, leading the creative direction at Courrèges since 2020, will chair the fashion category. Known for revitalizing the iconic fashion house, Di Felice is closely watched in the fashion world and brings a wealth of experience from his time at Balenciaga, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton.

Achilles Ion Gabriel, a standout designer in footwear and the creative force behind Spanish label Camper since 2020, will head the accessories category. His designs have enjoyed significant commercial success, and he recently launched his own ready-to-wear brand during Pitti Uomo.

The photography jury will be led by Coco Capitán, a 31-year-old Spanish artist and photographer known for her poetic and socially engaged images. Recognized early in her career, Capitán’s work, occasionally infused with irony, has been featured in renowned independent magazines, and she has collaborated with major fashion houses, including Gucci.

With this stellar lineup of jury heads, the 2024 Hyères Festival promises to be a global showcase of emerging talent, attracting attention from the fashion and photography communities worldwide.
