Hunza G, a sustainable swimwear company known for its swimsuits and bikinis made from distinctive seersucker fabric, has unveiled its first location in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials. Since Julia Roberts wearing one of Hunza G’s cut-out mini dresses in Pretty Woman in the 1980s, the brand has gained popularity.
Under the direction of Creative Director Georgiana Huddart, the company relaunches after 30 years and invites in-person purchases at its first physical location.With its ultra-stretchy crinkle fabric, the London-based a company is dedicated to producing beachwear goods for everyone while adhering to the ‘One Size Fit’ credo.
It promises to leave no dead stock material or waste and also emphases sustainable creation and waste reduction.Prior to now, only prestigious multi-brand retailers like Self ridges, Harrods, and Harvey Nichols carried the brand’s physical collections.
The new store, which is 1,583 square feet in size and is situated at 35-37 Monmouth Street, is now open through the end of the summer. In its swimwear, beachwear, and accessories collections, the brand has distinctive “modern nostalgia” styles featured.
Customers are greeted by original artwork made by London-based artist Alba Hodsoll and Hunza G’s signature pink color.Hunza G’s co-founder and a creative director, Georgiana Huddart, said: “Since we re-launched Hunza G in 2015, our objective has been to provide a location for our consumers to come and feel, in-person, who we are as a brand.
