H&M has unveiled its Studio Resort 2026 collection, a sun-drenched edit inspired by the relaxed glamour and bohemian spirit of the South of France.

The collection explores the contrast between effortless creativity and refined elegance, translating coastal living into fluid silhouettes, artisanal textures, and relaxed tailoring. Designed for high summer dressing, the line reflects a mood of ease, escape, and understated luxury.

A Mediterranean-inspired design narrative

The Resort 2026 collection channels a lifestyle shaped by morning swims, open-air markets, and long, balmy evenings. Key design elements include floaty dresses, kaftans, crochet knits, and softly structured tailoring, enhanced with embroidery, rope detailing, handkerchief hems, and antique-style buttons.

The colour palette mirrors the Mediterranean landscape, featuring sun-washed yellows, burnt ochre, sandy beige, crisp whites, deep navy, and classic black. Fabrics such as linen, cotton, and viscose reinforce the collection’s lightweight, breathable summer aesthetic.

Key silhouettes and standout pieces

The collection highlights a mix of relaxed separates and statement pieces. These include a white cotton blouse and mini skirt set with sailor-inspired detailing, a burnt ochre crochet maxi dress with sunflower motifs and high slit, and a yellow open-back maxi dress with ruffle seams and contrast stitching.

Tailoring takes a softer approach with a beige linen-mix blazer featuring a curved waistline and matching shorts, while dresses explore sculptural ease through apron-inspired shapes and embroidered straps.

Accessories define the summer mood

The accessory line extends the collection’s narrative of relaxed sophistication. It includes a triangle bikini in abstract floral print, kitten-heel leather sandals, boat shoe-inspired mules, a butter-yellow baguette bag, green oval sunglasses, and sculptural sunflower earrings.

Designer perspective

Speaking on the collection, Kathrin Deutsch, H&M Studio collection designer, noted that the range was built around the duality of the South of France — balancing bohemian creativity with effortless glamour. This tension is reflected through tactile fabrics, artisanal detailing, and relaxed draping.

Global launch

The H&M Studio Resort 2026 collection will be available globally from 21 May 2026 via selected stores and the brand’s online platform.
