Himalaya BabyCare Launches New Campaign for Gentle Baby Shampoo

Himalaya BabyCare has unveiled a new digital campaign for its Gentle Baby Shampoo, centred on the promise of making bath time a joyful and tear-free experience for babies. Built around the theme ‘Happy Tears for Mom, No Tears for Baby’, the campaign highlights the brand’s commitment to providing gentle, nature-led care for delicate baby hair and scalp.

The digital film draws on a relatable emotional insight, portraying a mother reminiscing about her own childhood bath time experiences, where harsh formulations often caused discomfort and tears. Determined to give her child a different experience, she promises that every bath will be gentle, comforting and free from tears. Through this narrative, the campaign reinforces Himalaya BabyCare’s focus on safe, scientifically developed baby care solutions.

At the centre of the campaign is the Himalaya Gentle Baby Shampoo, formulated with a ‘No Tears’ formula designed to provide gentle cleansing without irritating a baby’s eyes. The shampoo is enriched with natural ingredients including Rice, Hibiscus, Chickpea and Vetiver, which help nourish the scalp while keeping hair soft, smooth and naturally shiny. Its pH 5.5 balanced formula supports scalp health and is suitable for everyday use from the very first day.

Commenting on the campaign, Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, we understand that bath time is an important bonding moment between parents and babies. However, for many parents, concerns around discomfort and tears can disrupt this beautiful experience. With our Gentle Baby Shampoo and its ‘No Tears’ formulation, we aim to transform bath time into a happy, comforting ritual that parents can look forward to, helping mothers fulfil their promise of a happy, tear-free bath time.”

The shampoo has been clinically tested and dermatologically evaluated, and is made using carefully selected natural ingredients. It is free from Parabens, Phthalates and Synthetic Colours, ensuring gentle cleansing while supporting healthy hair and scalp.

With this latest campaign, Himalaya BabyCare continues to strengthen its positioning as a trusted brand that combines nature-inspired ingredients with scientific research to meet the evolving needs of modern parents. The digital film has been released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali, enabling the message to reach families across diverse regions of India.
