HGH India’s 19th Edition Wraps Up with Strong Buyer Participation and Innovation-Led Exhibits
The 19th edition of HGH India concluded on a successful note, reaffirming its status as India’s leading trade platform for home textiles, home décor, furniture, houseware, gifting and lifestyle products. Held from 30 June to 3 July 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, the exhibition attracted 44,743 trade visitors from 752 cities across India and 34 countries, highlighting the growing demand for design-led home products and business networking opportunities.
The four-day event witnessed robust engagement from buyers across product segments including home textiles, décor, accent furniture, kitchenware, houseware, gifting and other emerging lifestyle categories. More than 700 brands and manufacturers representing 30 countries participated in this year’s edition, offering buyers access to the latest product innovations and sourcing opportunities.
Commenting on the event’s success, Arun Roongta, Managing Director of Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., the organisers of HGH India, said the exhibition reflected the continued growth and transformation of India’s home products industry. He noted that participation from retailers, architects, interior designers, manufacturers and sourcing professionals demonstrated increasing demand for innovative products, refined design and commercially viable solutions.
The event also welcomed several distinguished guests, including Dr Kumar Vishwas, who highlighted the global export potential of Pilkhuwa’s home furnishing industry.
Experience-Driven Pavilions Take Centre Stage
This year’s exhibition placed significant emphasis on curated experiences through specialised pavilions designed to enhance product discovery and buyer engagement.
The Smart Kitchen Pavilion showcased the latest advancements in kitchen technology, combining functionality, innovation and design. Live cooking demonstrations and product presentations were led by renowned chefs Saransh Goila and Dr Chef Parvinder Singh Bali, while celebrity chefs Harpal Singh Sokhi and Vicky Ratnani also visited the exhibition.
The Trends 2026-27 showcase, developed by HGH India’s trend forecasting team under the theme PreSense, presented upcoming colour palettes, materials, textures and design directions expected to influence the next retail season. The display served as a valuable resource for designers, manufacturers, architects, retailers and sourcing professionals.
Supported by MATEXIL and the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the HomeTech Pavilion focused on high-performance home textiles. Exhibitors demonstrated advanced material innovations including flame-retardant fabrics, antimicrobial bedding solutions and sustainable manufacturing technologies.
The Sustainability Pavilion highlighted environmentally responsible products made using renewable materials, recycled and upcycled resources, biodegradable alternatives and sustainable production methods. The pavilion reflected the increasing importance of eco-conscious solutions within the home and lifestyle sector.
H-Circle Awards Honour Product Innovation
Innovation remained a key focus through the H-Circle Product Innovation Awards, which recognised outstanding achievements in design, functionality, sustainability and market potential. Sixteen winners were selected from 117 nominations by an independent jury comprising experts from academia, retail, design and media.
Award winners included AVI, Aiko Home and Thirsty Towels in the home textiles category; Swadeh and Casa Delite for home décor; Furniselan and VD Plast for furniture; Ember, Divine Copper, Vola and Asian Plastowares in houseware; GG Copper and RGS Tex for gifting; while Bianca Home, Genflask and Sainik received honours in the special category awards.
Industry Knowledge Sharing
HGH India also hosted a series of interactive knowledge sessions featuring senior industry professionals and business leaders. Discussions explored topics such as future retail growth, luxury home design, Home Retail 2030, evolving consumer preferences, sustainability and the expanding role of technical textiles in the home sector.
The exhibition’s segmented layout enabled buyers to navigate product categories efficiently, compare offerings and engage in focused business discussions, contributing to a more productive sourcing experience.
Building on the success of its 19th edition, HGH India has announced that its milestone 20th edition will take place from 6 to 9 July 2027. Under the theme “It’s Time to Reinvent,” the upcoming edition aims to introduce new products, innovative retail concepts, advanced sourcing solutions and stronger industry collaborations as the home products market continues to evolve.
