A fresh item from the collection of well-known rapper 2Pac will soon go up for auction. This time, Tupac Shakur’s gold, ruby, and diamond ring will be put up for auction by Sotheby’s.
The rapper made the ring himself, and it served as a memento of his engagement to Kidada Jones. The ring has a crown-like form and is made of gold with two pavé-cut diamonds on either side of a central ruby cabochon. The three jewels then rise above a gold band covered with diamonds. An engraving that reads “Pac & Dada 1996” completes the ring.
The target sum for Shakur’s ring is between $200,000 and $300,000. The ring will be up for auction online through Sotheby’s from July 18 until July 25. Along with his red bandana, other Shakur jewellery was up for auction earlier this year at Gotta Have Rock and Roll.
