Gucci debuted the HA HA HA ad, giving fans a brand-new glimpse at what Harry Styles and Alessandro Michele’s joint capsule could include in the future.
Gucci hired Mark Borthwick to take photos and videos for HA HA HA (a name made up of Harry and Alessandro’s first initials), as well as to compose music for the video component. The humorous advertising campaign highlights the June collection. The collection included bowties, teddy-bear necklaces, gingham check outfits with cartoonish patterns, and unique iterations of the iconic Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag.
“I’m very delighted to see this project finally come to life,” Styles said of the campaign. Alessandro has been one of my favourite individuals for as long as I can remember. Watching him work always inspires me, so working with my friend on this project was quite meaningful to me.
