The provisional program for the next London Fashion Week (LFW), presented by 1664 Blanc, has been revealed, and it includes both notable new faces and active returns.
This edition, which will run from September 12 to 17, will continue the event’s 40th anniversary celebration, with the British Fashion Council (BFC) switching to a cultural idea that will highlight creative and independent groups.
This is mirrored in the initial line-up for the spring/summer 2025 edition, in which young designer Harris Reed, creative director for Nina Ricci, will return to the calendar under his namesake brand after displaying off-schedule for previous seasons.
Reed wrote on Instagram, “After much thought and six shows off schedule, I am extremely honored to bring my Harris Reed show to the official LFW calendar.”
“In the fashion sector, the UK needs to showcase creativity, innovation, sustainability, and its power in showmanship and the arts more than ever before. Coming together to support, champion, and celebrate the art of fashion is more important than ever.
Reed joins Partrick McDowell, Michael Stewart’s Standing Ground, Completedworks, and Edeline Lee, who have all been given catwalk slots, while Demon Zhang’s Mithridate will appear in a presentation style.
Kent & Curwen, Nensi Dojaka, and Toga are among the designers expected to present at LFW this season, along with active regulars Burberry, 16Arlington, Ahluwalia, David Koma, Knwls, and Richard Quinn.
