Global Textile Days 2025 – Uzbekistan Textile Week marked the autumn opening of Iteca Exhibitions’ 30th anniversary year at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex. The large-scale event combined three major platforms: the 16th CAITME (Central Asian International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Textile, Garment and Knitwear Industry), the 25th TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn, and a comprehensive business programme featuring B2B meetings, presentations, and expert-led panel discussions.
The event welcomed more than 250 exhibitors from 22 countries, including India, China, Italy, Germany, Turkiye, the USA, and the UK, with 82% of participants representing overseas companies. Attendance surpassed 8,000 visits, with over 6,000 industry professionals engaging across three days.
CAITME 2025 showcased advanced machinery and solutions for spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and sewing. Industry leaders such as Truetzschler, Groz-Beckert, Mahlo, Vandewiele NV, Itema, Lakshmi Machine Works, and Santoni displayed cutting-edge technologies, including new knitting machines like Jingmei JFG, Santoni Zenit HS2, and Pilotelli JVCE-4. Debut exhibitors included Samatex, Smartex Europe, and Stylon, adding to the global innovation spotlight.
TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025 celebrated its 25th edition with a full spectrum of textile and light industry products, ranging from yarns, fabrics, and knitwear to dyes, chemicals, footwear, and packaging solutions. The Special Buyer Programme facilitated negotiations between over 100 international purchasing companies and Uzbek manufacturers, strengthening global trade ties.
The Business Programme, under the theme Central Asia as a Manufacturing Hub: Resilience in the Face of Global Challenges, explored digitalisation, automation, energy efficiency, and AI applications. With 10 seminars and 14 speakers, sessions focused on reducing costs, enhancing factory performance, and expanding market access through e-commerce and digital labelling.
Supported by government ministries, industry associations, and international partners, Global Textile Days reinforced Uzbekistan’s role as a rising hub for textile production, technology, and export opportunities in Central Asia.
