The fashion presentation combines with the opening of the designer’s new building on Madison Avenue, which has been completely rebuilt to feature residential units, an Armani/Ristorante, and new Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa boutiques.
Giorgio Armani said on Tuesday that his namesake brand’s spring 2025 collection will be presented in New York rather than Milan.
The exhibition is scheduled for October 17 to coincide with the opening of the designer’s new Madison Avenue structure, which has been completely rebuilt to incorporate residential units, an Armani/Ristorante, and new Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa stores.
As a result, the Armani show will be separate from Milan Fashion Week, which runs from September 17 to 23, as well as New York Fashion Week, which runs from September 6 to 11. The designer’s fall 2025 collection will be displayed in Milan in February, as usual.
“Pragmatic and conscientious, the designer has decided to concentrate celebration of this important new opening and his return, after 11 years, to New York into a single event,” according to a statement issued by Armani.
Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared October 24th, the day of the One Night Only event, to be Giorgio Armani Day during his last tour. The award highlighted Armani’s long-standing engagement with the city, including his contributions to the local economy and support for public schools.
