Shanghai, 22 July 2024. Functional yarns and fibers, with their unique and adaptable qualities for a wide range of applications, are becoming more and more sought after in today’s world of changing demands. In the meanwhile, goods that combine environmental friendliness with usefulness are even more valuable. This year, from August 27 to 29, at Yarn Expo Autumn, a variety of functional yarn and fiber exhibitors will assemble, together with other suppliers from China and outside, to take advantage of expanding market prospects.

Functional yarns and fibres, which find widespread application in several high-demand areas like sports, healthcare, and the automotive sector, are becoming increasingly sought-after globally. Yarn Expo Autumn is an excellent venue for providers to showcase the qualities of high-performance products, such as its antibacterial, UV protection, moisture-wicking, or other features.

Recurring in autumn, the expo will feature collections from prominent functional exhibitors, many of which are labeled as eco-friendly. With additional cutting-edge and environmentally friendly yarns and fibers on display and fringe activities centered around Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise Ecogy[3], the 2024 edition is poised to combine the necessity of sustainable manufacturing with the aspiration for dynamic business exchange.
