After Arief Mohamad, the head of Flipkart Fashion, resigned, Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha was given the additional duty of overseeing the company’s operations.
Under Sinha’s direction, Flipkart Fashion and Myntra will carry on as independent businesses despite the change in leadership.
In 2013, Sinha began working for Flipkart as an associate director in the company’s health and beauty vertical. She has since advanced through the ranks of the organization and was named Myntra’s CEO in 2022.
In response to the announcement of Sinha’s promotion, a representative for the Flipkart Group said in a statement, “In addition to her current role at Myntra, Nandita Sinha, CEO of Myntra, will take on additional responsibility of leading Flipkart Fashion.” A seasoned group veteran and leader, she has played a key role in propelling the expansion of multiple businesses in the Flipkart ecosystem. Myntra has established a strong foothold in the fashion business and set itself up for future expansion under her direction.
Prior to joining the Flipkart Group, Nandita Sinha worked for Britannia and Unilever in a variety of roles.
