FESPA Announces New Corrugated Event for Packaging and POS Producers in Barcelona
The event, a joint venture with Brunton Publications, will include a dedicated exhibition and conference for the corrugated sector.
Barcelona, November 2025: FESPA has announced the launch of Corrugated, a new exhibition and conference focused on corrugated packaging and point-of-sale (POS) display production. The inaugural edition will take place alongside the FESPA Global Print Expo and its co-located events — Personalisation Experience, European Sign Expo, and Textile — from 19 to 22 May 2026 at Fira Barcelona.
Dedicated Platform for Corrugated Innovation
Developed as a joint venture between FESPA and Brunton Publications, Corrugated will provide a focused platform for manufacturers of corrugated cardboard packaging and display solutions. Participants can engage with suppliers offering materials, machinery, workflow software, and related technologies.
The event will also serve as a valuable hub for business owners, decision-makers, and senior operations teams to explore the latest innovations in corrugated applications, exchange insights, and connect with peers from across the global packaging industry.
Conference Exploring Future Trends
Spanning a 1,500-square-metre exhibition space, Corrugated will feature an extensive conference programme addressing topics shaping the sector’s future. Sessions will cover:
-
The impact of new EU legislation such as PPWR
-
Cybersecurity in modern box plants
-
Artificial intelligence opportunities in production
-
The role of trade associations in advancing the industry
-
Case studies from brands and design agencies adopting corrugated packaging for sustainability benefits
These sessions aim to inform and inspire printers in POS and packaging, enabling them to connect directly with OEMs and material suppliers serving the international corrugated industry.
Leadership Voices
Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA, shared:
“We’re thrilled to launch Corrugated, our new targeted event, alongside our flagship FESPA Global Print Expo and co-located shows. Packaging and three-dimensional displays using corrugated materials have gained momentum at FESPA in recent years. This dedicated event and conference, developed with sector-specialist partners, will provide the perfect platform for converters and display producers to explore new growth opportunities.”
To strengthen industry engagement, FESPA has appointed Nick Kirby, Non-Executive Director of Zeus Packaging, as Corrugated Ambassador.
Kirby commented:
“Corrugated is an exciting launch, and I’m proud to support it in my new role with FESPA. I’ll be helping the event team build relationships within the global corrugated community and promote FESPA’s initiatives across the sector. This event is a valuable addition to FESPA’s evolving portfolio, and I look forward to seeing it come to life in Barcelona.”
