Fashion Week Studio Showcases Global Design Talent in Paris S/S27
The October 3 presentation at Pavillon Dauphine brought together international designers across knitwear, bridal couture, contemporary womenswear and jewellery, celebrating craftsmanship and individuality.
Fashion Week Studio continued its international Spring/Summer 2027 journey in Paris with the second of its three presentations at Pavillon Dauphine. The showcase brought together designers working across knitwear, bridal couture, contemporary womenswear and jewellery, exploring femininity through craftsmanship, cultural heritage, personal identity and creative expression.
From sophisticated knitwear by MISOOK to bespoke bridalwear by Cinthia Vigil Alta Costura and handcrafted Colombian jewellery by AHA Joyas, the presentation highlighted diverse design perspectives united by a commitment to artistry and individuality.
MISOOK: Timeless Knitwear and Understated Luxury
Founded in New York in 1985 by Misook Doolittle, MISOOK has built its identity around sophisticated knitwear, comfort and timeless elegance. Lead designer Wendy Chen continues this approach through refined silhouettes, thoughtful details and elegant colour palettes.
Fully fashioned knitting remains central to the brand’s design philosophy. The technique helps minimise waste while supporting the creation of garments designed to last beyond a single season. The result is understated luxury that balances comfort, longevity and polished style.
Cinthia Vigil Alta Costura: The Art of Bespoke Couture
Lima-based Cinthia Vigil Alta Costura brought Peruvian couture to the forefront with its bespoke bridal gowns and haute couture creations.
Inspired by Ovid’s Ars Amatoria and its exploration of love, the collection celebrates individuality, identity and feminine strength. Hand embroidery, lace appliqués and luxurious textiles highlight the precision of atelier craftsmanship, with each garment created from the ground up.
Shawna Marino Bridal: Resilience and Renewal
Shawna Marino Bridal returned to the foundations of couture with a collection shaped by resilience, rebuilding and renewal. The season reflects the belief that strong creations begin with a solid foundation.
Couture construction and refined detailing meet bridal minis and timeless silhouettes. Together, these elements explore personal style, evolution and the courage to begin again.
Ashley Stambouli: Bloomscape
Venezuelan designer Ashley Stambouli, based in Miami, launched her eveningwear label in 2019. What began in her bedroom has grown into an atelier focused on occasionwear designed to make women feel unforgettable.
Her latest collection, Bloomscape, debuted in Paris as a celebration of femininity. Sculpted silhouettes, romantic details and lasting craftsmanship define the designs, with each piece created to be worn, loved and remembered beyond a single occasion.
Asodamas de Colombia and AHA Joyas: Jewellery with Purpose
AHA Joyas para el Alma was founded in Colombia by Erika Ardila, inspired by art, nature and spiritual connection. The brand creates handcrafted jewellery that celebrates individuality, empowerment and inner strength.
Working with women artisans and single mothers, AHA combines Colombian craftsmanship with contemporary design. Its collections draw inspiration from native flora, fauna and ancestral traditions, using silver and bronze alloys, gold plating and raw emeralds.
Responsible production is central to the brand’s approach, which incorporates recycled materials and nickel-free, hypoallergenic finishes. From its beginnings in Charalá, AHA has expanded its international presence through platforms including Colombia Moda, Guatemala Fashion Week, Mexico Boat Show and Paris Fashion Week.
Beyond accessories, its creations represent resilience, authenticity and self-love, celebrating the stories and strength of the women who wear them.
WE ARE JOSÉPHINE: A Confident Vision of Femininity
WE ARE JOSÉPHINE presented a mature, confident interpretation of femininity that moves beyond traditional romantic and princess-inspired ideals.
The collection celebrates women who are self-aware, sensual, sophisticated and strong. Considered silhouettes and handcrafted details bring together softness and strength, reflecting the belief that clothing should express a woman’s identity rather than transform her into someone else.
L’ALLEE: Oasis Alchemy
L’ALLEE explored transformation through Oasis Alchemy, a collection inspired by an imagined oasis where sand, stone, water, sunlight and flowers emerge from an arid landscape. The narrative follows a woman moving from restraint towards freedom and radiance.
Across 38 looks, earthy tones gradually transition into mineral surfaces, layered lace, floral forms, transparency and light-catching embellishment. Nearly 1,000 hand-cut lace flowers feature alongside gradient colours, embroidery, sequins, crystals and three-dimensional floral details.
The house’s signature Soft Tailoring creates elongated, flowing silhouettes inspired by water and wind. Through these forms, the collection translates nature into movement, materials and craftsmanship.
Fashion Week Studio Continues Its Paris S/S27 Journey
The October 3 presentation reinforced Fashion Week Studio’s commitment to bringing international design perspectives to the Paris fashion calendar. Across knitwear, bridalwear, couture, contemporary womenswear and jewellery, each participating label offered a distinct interpretation of femininity and elegance.
By combining traditional techniques with contemporary ideas, the showcase highlighted the role of craftsmanship, personal identity and creative individuality in shaping fashion’s evolving landscape.
