Fashion Week Studio Celebrates International Designers at Milan S/S27 Showcase

The Milan showcase brought together global designers across couture, bridalwear, fine jewellery and contemporary fashion as Fashion Week Studio continued its international Spring/Summer 2027 journey.

Fashion Week Studio marked a major moment in its Spring/Summer 2027 season with an international fashion showcase at Palazzina Appiani in Milan. The event brought together designers from different cultural backgrounds to present collections exploring craftsmanship, individuality, heritage and contemporary luxury.

The historic venue welcomed influencers, celebrities, fashion professionals, creatives and fashion enthusiasts. Elegant floral arrangements added to the setting, while the collections showcased a range of styles, from couture and bridalwear to fine jewellery and contemporary womenswear.

Each presentation offered a distinct perspective on identity, femininity, resilience and self-expression. Together, the collections reflected Fashion Week Studio’s vision of fashion as a platform for cultural exchange and creative storytelling.

International Designers Take the Milan Runway

DCASSO Custom: Rinascita Nera

Houston-based luxury label DCASSO Custom opened the showcase with Rinascita Nera, meaning “Black Renaissance”. Inspired by designer Demitric Simmons’ personal journey, European tailoring and architecture, the collection explored resilience, confidence and individuality.

Classic tailoring, rich textures, bold colours and contemporary silhouettes shaped the presentation. Moreover, premium natural fabrics and refined construction highlighted the label’s focus on quality and fit. The collection combined womenswear with selected menswear, presenting a modern vision of enduring luxury.

Dawn Bradbury Designs: Fashion Inspired by Faith and Nature

Dawn Bradbury Designs presented a collection rooted in faith, resilience and effortless elegance. Drawing inspiration from Caribbean landscapes, global travel and nature, the Virginia-based designer used vibrant silk to create flowing kaftans, dresses and versatile separates.

The designs moved between relaxed daytime dressing and elegant eveningwear. Through fluid silhouettes and versatile styling, the collection celebrated comfort, freedom and confidence.

YOSHIMI OTANI DRESS: Sen no Tsubasa

Japanese designer Yoshimi Otani presented Sen no Tsubasa: A Thousand Wings, One Destiny, a ten-look collection inspired by the crane, a symbol of hope, longevity and elegance.

Personally designed, patterned and crafted by Otani in Japan, the collection featured original crane-patterned textiles, feathers, flowing organza and sculptural silhouettes. Meanwhile, a palette of white, black, red and gold created a striking visual identity.

The collection explored transformation, connection and rebirth. Each look told its own story while contributing to a wider message of hope and self-expression.

Rochie Couture Finland: Fiori di Passione

Rochie Couture Finland brought a dramatic scarlet palette to the runway with Fiori di Passione, a collection celebrating love, passion and courage.

Founded by Filipino-Finnish designer Rochie Malunes, the independent couture house combines Filipino craftsmanship with Scandinavian design. Sculptural silhouettes, intricate handwork and dramatic volumes gave the collection a strong visual presence.

Through its bold colour and architectural construction, the presentation highlighted the meeting of two cultural influences. It also reinforced the designer’s focus on individuality and contemporary couture.

Melissa Tyson: Golden Sunshine

American fine-jewellery designer Melissa Tyson presented Golden Sunshine, a collection inspired by her daughter and the beauty of the sun, sand and sea.

Designed for couples seeking individual expressions of love, the collection featured engagement rings and wedding bands with fantasy-cut Montana sapphires, yellow and champagne diamonds, recycled gold and hand-hammered textures.

Rather than following conventional bridal traditions, Tyson focused on personal meaning, natural forms and artisanal detail. Her jewellery was presented alongside collections by Ann Marie Bride and Francisca Tornero, bringing fine jewellery into the wider runway narrative.

Ann Marie Bride: Élan

Turkish bridal house Ann Marie Bride presented Élan, a collection that reimagined traditional bridalwear through architectural shapes and expressive details.

Sheer tulle, layered textures, distinctive draping and three-dimensional appliqués added depth and movement to the designs. At the same time, the collection retained the refinement associated with couture bridal fashion.

Presented alongside jewellery by Melissa Tyson Designs, Élan offered a contemporary perspective on romance, elegance and personal expression.

Francisca Tornero: Metamorfosis

Chilean designer, researcher and academic Francisca Tornero presented Metamorfosis, a collection exploring change, identity and the relationship between fragility and strength.

Produced in limited editions in Chile, the collection combined textile experimentation, natural silks and sculptural silhouettes. Manipulated fabrics and carefully considered details translated ideas of emotional growth into physical form.

Through this approach, Tornero positioned fashion as a medium for memory, cultural identity and storytelling. Her designs were also presented in collaboration with Melissa Tyson Designs, whose jewellery accompanied the runway looks.

By Vizcarra: I Cigni

Founded and creatively directed by Katty Vizcarra, By Vizcarra presented I Cigni, a couture and jewellery collection exploring contrast, evolution and inner strength.

The collection drew on Colombian craftsmanship, handmade artistry and Swarovski and Preciosa crystals. Its central White Swan figure represented purity, silence and elegance during the early stages of personal transformation.

Andrea Sorzano embodied the White Swan in an ethereal look adorned with By Vizcarra jewellery. The presentation offered a visual interpretation of femininity and the strength that emerges through change.

MYA Collection: House of Peonies

Greek fashion brand MYA Collection presented House of Peonies, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection inspired by the flower and its associations with femininity and beauty.

The Athens-based label combined lace, chiffon, satin, sequins, feathers, tulle and dramatic fringes to create expressive occasionwear. These varied textures balanced romantic details with bold silhouettes.

Rooted in Greek craftsmanship and produced in Greece, the collection celebrated confidence and individuality. It also reflected the brand’s approach to fashion as a way for women to express their identities and personal stories.

Reem Al Jesmi: Afterglow

Designer Reem Al Jesmi presented Afterglow, a collection inspired by the colours of the sky after sunset. Shades of turquoise, blue, gold, black and red captured the lasting beauty of the changing sky.

The designs combined femininity with a strong visual presence. In addition, carefully selected fabrics, embroidery and details reflected the identity of the Reem Al Jesmi brand.

The collection explored the idea that true elegance leaves a lasting impression, much like the glow that remains after sunset.

A Global Fashion Community Comes Together

The Milan showcase brought together creative perspectives from the United States, Japan, Finland, Greece, Chile and other international fashion centres. From couture and bridalwear to jewellery and contemporary womenswear, the collections highlighted the range of traditions and ideas shaping global fashion.

Beyond the runway, the event created a meeting point for designers, influencers, celebrities, creatives and fashion enthusiasts. Guests also contributed to the atmosphere through their own distinctive fashion choices.

The showcase at Palazzina Appiani marked another important step in Fashion Week Studio’s international journey. By bringing diverse designers together, the platform continues to create opportunities for creative exchange and introduce distinctive fashion voices to an international audience.

Following its Milan presentation, Fashion Week Studio’s international Spring/Summer 2027 journey continues to Paris.
