Fabindia, a prominent lifestyle brand, has entered into a strategic relationship with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) to provide financial support, skill development, and marketing help to traditional craftsmen across India.
With this collaboration, Fabindia will help potters, carpenters, weavers, blacksmiths, tailors, and other skilled craftspeople by extending their retail presence across India.
Furthermore, Fabindia will promote these products through its broad marketing channels, both online and in physical stores, allowing them to reach a wider audience.
In a joint statement, MoMSME and Fabindia Ltd said, “The initiative is committed to preserving and promoting Indian craftsmanship and artisans by providing them with the tools, training, and platform they need to thrive in the modern marketplace.”
“With this collaboration, we are sure that it will not only empower artisans but also ensure their crafts receive the recognition and market access they deserve,” the company said.
The cooperation was formed under the PM Vishwakarma initiative, a government-initiated campaign to support traditional craftspeople across India.
