ITMF&IAF Joint Conference 2024

For the first time, Uzbekistan hosts conferences of two international textile associations.

Samarkand will host the Joint Conference of the world’s two biggest international textile federations, the ITMF Annual Conference and the IAF Fashion Convention, from September 8 to 10, 2024.

This large-scale event will bring together over 1000 significant leaders from the global textile business in Uzbekistan. For the first time, the heads of more than 500 international organizations, textile companies, brands and retailers, and financial institutions from Europe, CIS, Asia, Africa, and America will meet on a single platform to debate issues concerning the global textile industry’s future development.

On November 6, 2023, as part of the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers’ Annual Conference and Textile Week in Keqiao, the Uztextileprom Association announced the ITMF Annual Conference and IAF World Fashion Convention in Uzbekistan.

Earlier, on October 25, the IAF 2023 Fashion Convention in Philadelphia, USA, revealed that the following IAF conference would also be hosted in Samarkand.

Uzbekistan’s textile sector is pushing forward with confidence. The international community is actively monitoring the country’s favorable improvements and has noted tremendous progress in Uzbekistan’s textile industry. In a very short period of time, the Uzbek textile sector has become a competitive global producer. Such improvements would undoubtedly help Uzbekistan become a prominent player in the global textile sector.
