Women’s ethnic apparel became a very popular product category during the company’s End of Season Sale main online sale event, according to the Economic Times. Sales of men’s ethnic clothing are also increasing, and popular labels on Myntra include Manyavar and Tarun Tahiliani’s Tasva ready-to-wear line, among others.
The ethnic apparel category on Myntra is expanding, following general market trends. According to ET Online, the market for women’s ethnic clothing in India is predicted to grow to $24 billion by 2025. This suggests that there is significant room for expansion for the product category. The luxury ethnic apparel category on Myntra features names with beginning pricing of Rs 2,500. In this area, the e-commerce marketplace offers more than 3.85 lakh designs from more than 1,000 companies.
