The billionaire businessman Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, spoke with Al Arabiya News host Tom Burges-Watson about his son’s remarks on UK politics, especially his assertion that Nigel Farage is unsuited to lead the UK Reform UK party.

Burges-Watson also predicted that UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer would not be employed next month, likened far-right activist Tommy Robinson to Nelson Mandela, and pushed Errol about sponsoring the UK Reform party.

You can watch the full interview here on the Al Arabiya News YouTube channel:

Errol agrees with his son’s assessment of UK MP Nigel Farage, describing his attempts to train gangs as “no good” and raising doubts about Farage’s capacity to guide the country through its current economic and social predicament. Errol stated:

I don’t get the impression that he is strong. Elon then went on to imply that he believes Farage is incompetent. In other words, Elon spent hours preparing gangs for rape while essentially considering the impoverished. Naturally, Tommy Robinson’s 18-month solitary incarceration for essentially doing nothing is another factor.

Errol Musk likens Tommy Robinson, a far-right activist in the UK, to Nelson Mandela and asserts that, despite his contentious past, history will eventually see Robinson as a prime minister. Errol said, “Tommy Robinson is the person to look to.”

You have a man who risked his life, and that man is Tommy Robinson. If you look at world history over the past 20 years and beyond, and even before that, Tommy Robinson is probably going to be the prime minister of England eventually.

Consider our nation, where Nelson Mandela’s death sentence was reduced in 1963 and he was given a life sentence instead. Additionally, he will be the president of South Africa if you sit in those days. People would have truly believed you were insane at one point.

“You have to understand that, from the perspective of the nation at the time, Nelson Mandela was a complete rascal. He was not an admirable individual. We weren’t. They desired to hang him. So, to grasp what I’m saying when we return to Tommy Robinson, a somewhat more expansive mindset is necessary. What happens in the past when you imprison your political rivals on false pretenses? Next, you start to look at who it is they are locking up.”

When Burges-Watson asked Errol about Reform party and funding, Errol replied:

“The Reform Party is a positive reform. And, you know, we will still give them money, either in the form of a loan or the permitted amount. However, Reform is excellent.

Errol calls the situation in the UK “out of control” and predicts that UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer “won’t make it to the end of February”:

“The matter goes far beyond making small inquiries and other actions. The matter has gotten out of hand. Do you want my theory? The end of February is when he won’t arrive.
