Epson has partnered with acclaimed photographer and film producer Atul Kasbekar as the official print partner for HONEST: Portraits of Character, a photography exhibition currently being showcased at Jio World Plaza.
The exhibition celebrates the artistry and legacy of some of Indian cinema’s most respected character actors through a collection of 56 large-format black-and-white portraits. Presented as a tribute to authenticity and craft, the exhibition features personalities including Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Kay Kay Menon, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rasika Dugal.
Captured without retouching, the portraits focus on natural expressions and character, highlighting the performers whose contributions have helped shape Indian cinema.
To ensure every detail of the photographs is faithfully reproduced, the exhibition has been printed using Epson’s professional imaging technology. Produced on Epson SureColor large-format printers with UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks and Epson professional media, the prints are designed to deliver exceptional tonal accuracy, depth, and longevity.
Commenting on the collaboration, Atul Kasbekar noted that the project centres on authenticity and that preserving subtle tonal variations, particularly in black-and-white photography, was critical to the exhibition’s vision.

Presented across Levels 1 and 2 of Jio World Plaza, the exhibition reflects the venue’s focus on supporting cultural experiences and artistic expression. HONEST: Portraits of Character is open to the public with free entry.
