Eight Global Brands Join Canopy to Protect Climate-Critical Forests

Eight major international brands have partnered with Canopy through its Pack4Good and CanopyStyle programs. Their goal is to remove Ancient and Endangered Forests from packaging and man-made cellulosic fibre supply chains. This step strengthens ongoing efforts to shift the fashion and packaging industries toward safer, more responsible materials.

Driving the Shift to Next Gen Solutions

Canopy’s initiatives aim to replace forest-derived inputs with Next Gen materials that use recycled textiles, agricultural residues, and other low-impact resources. By joining these programs, the participating brands commit to reducing their dependence on traditional forest-based packaging and fibres. They also agree to support innovations that lower carbon footprints and protect high-value ecosystems.

Strengthening Global Forest Protection

The new partners will work with Canopy to map risks in their sourcing, improve transparency, and encourage suppliers to adopt verified deforestation-free practices. This collaboration will also help safeguard biodiversity, Indigenous communities, and climate-stabilizing landscapes. As more brands join, the collective momentum pushes the industry toward regenerative and circular systems.

A Growing Movement for Sustainable Supply Chains

With these additions, Canopy’s network grows stronger and more influential. Many companies are now choosing low-carbon materials, investing in scalable alternatives, and promoting circular business models. This movement signals a major shift in how global brands approach packaging and textiles, and it highlights the rising demand for sustainable, forest-safe solutions.
