The group’s certification program for the luxury industry, which is now available online on the “Inside LVMH” portal, will begin a new session on May 21, 2024. Since its start in 2021, the free course—which is targeted at students and young professionals—has drawn more than 78,000 registrants. The goal is obvious for the leader in the luxury market: to develop a pool of young talent who, after completing the course, are likely to join one of the Group’s 75 brands. In specifics, there are four courses in the program (all taught in English): two required for every student, and two electives. Pupils might select to study brand development and image, retail and the consumer experience, or the supply chain.

The deadline to register for this new session is May 16. Thirty hours of instruction are included in the eight-week sessions. To receive the certificate, one must receive at least 70% of the correct answers on the final test. Only one try is permitted. In conclusion, every course comprises an academic segment conducted in association with seasoned instructors, a professional segment, and knowledge-testing quizzes.

The training is a component of a worldwide education program that LVMH offers in a variety of formats, including events hosted in association with partner colleges like ESSEC, HEC Paris, Institut Français de la Mode, Sciences Po Paris, and others.

When LVMH established a chair in luxury goods in 1991 in collaboration with Essec, the Higher School of Economics and Business in France, the company first became involved in the education industry. With around 213,000 employees globally, LVMH reported 86.2 billion euros in revenues in 2023.
