ECCO Takes Its Next Step in India with 10th Store at Phoenix Palladium Ahmedabad

Danish premium footwear brand ECCO has opened its 10th store in India at Phoenix Palladium, Ahmedabad, marking another milestone in its retail expansion and strengthening its presence in Gujarat.

Known for its focus on comfort, craftsmanship and contemporary design, ECCO has designed the new store to reflect its global retail identity. The space combines a clean aesthetic with premium finishes and an intuitive layout designed to enhance the shopping experience.

The store features dedicated sections for men’s and women’s footwear, along with central product displays, comfortable seating and a dedicated area for leather goods. An LED wall showcases ECCO’s product stories and brand universe, while warm wood finishes, white merchandising walls, black architectural details and focused track lighting create a contemporary yet welcoming environment.

The storefront features backlit ECCO branding and an LED display, giving the location a distinctive presence while maintaining consistency with the brand’s international retail design.

Commenting on the opening, Mr. Sumeet Lohia, Country Manager, ECCO India, said:

“The opening of our 10th store in India is an important milestone in ECCO’s growth journey in the country. Ahmedabad is a key market for us as we continue to connect with consumers who are increasingly looking for quality, comfort and contemporary design in their footwear choices. With our new store at Phoenix Palladium, we are bringing ECCO’s global retail experience closer to consumers in the city while further strengthening our presence in Gujarat. As we expand our retail network, our focus remains on building a strong, long-term brand in India through thoughtful expansion and a product proposition rooted in craftsmanship, innovation and comfort.”

The Ahmedabad location offers ECCO’s portfolio of men’s and women’s footwear along with selected leather goods, bringing together Danish design, premium materials and the brand’s shoemaking technologies.

ECCO’s vertically integrated business model remains an important part of its approach to quality and innovation. The company maintains significant control across its value chain, covering areas such as leather production, manufacturing and retail.

ECCO entered the Indian market in 2019 and has since expanded across key retail destinations. With the opening of its 10th store at Phoenix Palladium, Ahmedabad, the brand has reached a significant retail milestone while continuing to improve access to its premium footwear offering.

India remains a long-term growth market for ECCO, with the brand focusing on measured retail expansion and a consistent global experience for Indian consumers.
