Durak Tekstil had the final traditional customer meetings in Denizli, deciding on a customer-focused approach as the fundamental marketing strategy. At the event, which was attended by over 120 textile producers, comprehensive information on cutting-edge sewing and embroidery threads was given, and opportunities for new partnerships were presented.

At a client conference held in Denizli, Durak Tekstil, a prominent producer of industrial sewing and embroidery threads, greeted the top textile producers in the area. More than 120 experts from the industry attended the event, which included presentations on Durak Tekstil’s business expansion, broad product line, R&D studies, and the introduction of Renk İplik, which began operations as a new dealer. Attention was drawn to the presentations given by Executive Board Chairman Nadiye Kurteş, Board Member and Marketing Director Yiğit Durak, Board Vice Chairman Saadet Oran, and Board Chairman Hüseyin Kuru of Durak Tekstil. In addition to highlighting how these sectoral meetings satisfied them and provided new chances, the attendees said the event produced a strong synergy.

In her introductory remarks, Saadet Oran recalled the 52-year history of Durak Tekstil and outlined significant turning points in the company’s development from the manufacture of fishing net thread to its position as a pioneer in industrial sewing and embroidery threads. “We saw the growth of our business, which my father Ali Durak started as a tiny workshop in Bursa under my brother Ömer Durak’s creative vision. We have presented you with new products based on research and development studies and have also increased our capacity via ongoing investments in order to provide the best solution to you, our valued stakeholders in the Turkish textile sector. Today, Durak Tekstil, which is taking firm steps towards becoming a global brand, is moving forward stronger together with you, the industry representatives, and continues to add value to the industry with new solutions. We would like to thank the industry representatives and our partners who are walking with us on this path,” Oran said.

Economic expectations for 2025 are moving in a positive direction

During his presentation, Hüseyin Kuru, the chairman of the Durak Tekstil Board, presented significant insights on the Turkish and global economies. Kuru stated that despite events like trade conflicts and the new cold war era, the years in which manufacturing would rediscover its worth have already begun. “In the upcoming period, production power will provide more advantages,” Kuru added. Along with the movement in the American and European markets, North African nations and the former Eastern Bloc countries are also expected to rise. With our production capacity, we as Turks can take advantage of additional chances in this process.

“For the Turkish economy, 2025 will be a positive period with fewer risks, a more stable outlook, and more economic activity,” he said, adding that they had optimistic hopes for the year. We have entered a phase of steady increasing exchange rates and stable falling interest rates, following a period of low exchange rates and high interest rates. The same is true of the shift from a contracting domestic market to one that is gradually expanding. The European market’s economy will also recover during this period. Despite the ongoing regional conflicts, we think the market’s recovery will have a greater impact. As Durak Tekstil, we have prepared and developed our 2025 viewpoint and strategies based on many possibilities. With our vision that highlights our brand supremacy, puts quality and supply continuity first, and uses R&D to create unique goods, we will continue to provide the best to our clients in the quickest amount of time.

Durak Tekstil product portfolio is constantly growing

Making a presentation about sewing and embroidery threads developed and produced by Durak Tekstil, Executive Board Chairman Nadiye Kurteş addressed several points that the event participants were curious about and provided information about innovative studies. “Our industrial embroidery and sewing threads that meet different application demands are preferred by manufacturers with both their high quality and durability standards and richness of colors,” she said and emphasized that the threads can be used efficiently in machines thanks to their special structures.

Kurteş stated: “The best application results are enabled by a variety of embroidery threads, including Poly-Soft, Visco, Durafix, and Durapol.” Our threads come in a variety of colors, textures, and characteristics, making the embroidery more eye-catching. Textile goods require sewing, and as Durak, we provide our clients with a variety of options in this area. Many of our threads, including Duratex, Durafix, Polystrong Premium, Duracotton, and Poly-jet, satisfy the required stitching qualities. Durak Textile threads are mixed with a wide variety of textile surfaces, ranging from the most delicate to hefty and challenging materials like denim. Our shuttle threads Duraless, Durabobbins, and Duma are well-known in the industry and help enterprises run more efficiently.

Kurteş also discussed cutting-edge technological threads created via research and development studies, showing that their portfolio is continuously growing for a variety of sectors and uses. She clarified that clients are also supplied recycled special threads in addition to threads with a wide range of practical qualities including flame retardant, UV resistant, cut resistant, anti-static, and water repellent. Kurteş discussed the potential applications and prospects offered by the new items, which include scented embroidered thread, water-soluble thread, electrical thread, cooling embroidery thread, and thermochromic thread.

ustomer-focused marketing efforts prove their success

Yiğit Durak, the marketing director and board member of Durak Tekstil, gave a lecture in which he discussed brand and marketing initiatives. Speaking on the significance of branding, Durak stated that by distinguishing in terms of quality, philosophy, product, vision, and experience, companies can get the full trust of their customers. “As Durak Tekstil, we have an infrastructure that can reach every part of Turkey, and we keep improving it to provide our consumers with the things they want as quickly as possible. Additionally, each year we gain more clout in export markets. As we commemorate our 50th anniversary in 2022, we have accomplished a great deal and are eligible to take part in the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Trade’s Turquality Brand Support Program. Durak Tekstil was the first business to enter this program,” he disclosed.

New motto and QR code designs were made, according to Durak, who said they concentrated on corporate branding development. We have established a pattern of connecting with customers in addition to taking part in significant fairs that influence industrial sewing and embroidery thread globally. We planned this gathering in Denizli following our events in Adana, Kayseri, Azerbaijan, Izmir, Ankara, and Tunisia. These sessions allow us to speak with our users directly, build a close relationship with them, and establish a shared vision,” he stated. “Experience technology with Durak,” “Experience art with Durak,” and “Experience nature with Durak” are the mottos for the work, according to Durak, who also mentioned that e-commerce has been enabled for online sales.

New dealer Renk İplik started working quickly

At the Durak Tekstil Denizli Customer Meeting, Renk İplik was also introduced as the company’s new dealer in the area. The Denizli-based business made fresh investments for a large stock holding and prompt service assistance with the dealership arrangement. Speaking at the ceremony, İsmail Öztürker, general manager of Renk İplik, emphasized that they had previously collaborated with Durak Tekstil and stated that their goal for the upcoming time was to expand their market share in Denizli and the neighboring area.

Öztürker declared that they have finished all the preparations for stock holding and quick service with their new investments in 2024, adding, “Our new partnership will not only expand our business but also allow us to provide the best service to more customers by expanding our service area.” Through the e-commerce channel, we can sell our items to all nearby cities, particularly Denizli, as well as İzmir, Çanakkale, Antalya, and even anywhere else. Our clients may be sure that their orders will arrive the following day thanks to our growing inventory and product selection in Durak Tekstil threads. Renk İplik, Durak Tekstil, and our industry would all benefit from this collaboration, he said.

Participants were pleased to meet Durak

Hosting more than 120 guests, the Durak Tekstil Denizli meeting was recorded as a successful event. Participants emphasized that the content of the presentations informed them and that the meetings they had with company officials throughout the event were beneficial for them.

Esma Nakış company owner Hasan Öztürk:For the past 20 years, we have had excellent success working with Durak Tekstil. The machines have advanced and accelerated throughout this period. By preparing its threads for the next era, Durak Tekstil has not abandoned us. We believe that Durak Tekstil is a stronger producer in this regard. With their R&D studies, they can provide us with a variety of threads, and we are confident that we can locate a new thread from them when we seek it out. The fact that it is a local brand holds great significance for us. Additionally, we were quite happy with this occasion; it was good to see them after a long time, talk with them, and hear about their advances. Seeing the representatives of the firm

Feo Textile Production Manager Mehmet Ali Mutlutürk: “Our company was founded a year ago and we have been using Durak Textile threads since then. As a company that focuses on embroidery, brode and knitting, we can easily find the threads we are looking for at Durak. Their quality and lack of bleeding in their colors were our main reasons for choosing them. We have growth goals in the upcoming period and we want to see Durak by our side at all times during this process. The interest we saw and the threads we received information about at this event motivated us. We saw once again that if there is going to be an innovation in the sector, it will be at Durak.”
