Anita Dongre, a high-end apparel company, has said that it will open a flagship location in Dubai Mall to display its whole line of ethnic and fusion clothing.
The 1,600 square foot location will serve Dubai’s sizable Indian population and serve as the brand’s second foreign location. The shop will provide a variety of clothes for everyone, including a Ramadan-specific line made especially for Middle Eastern women. The retailer will also feature the company’s recently released line of vegan accessories.
The retailer will carry the company’s ready-to-wear and event wear lines, including its newest line of kaftans, for which Dongre just shot a campaign in Dubai. The shop, which is intended to represent the rich legacy of Dongre’s native state, will have hand-painted panels created by a Pichhwai artisan in Rajasthan.
The company wants to grow even more in the UAE region. The brand hopes to spend some time getting to know and listening to its customers in Dubai and the larger Middle Eastern market with the inauguration of its Dubai Mall location.
